Rupel (ang. Rupelian)
- w sensie geochronologicznym – najstarszy wiek oligocenu (era kenozoiczna), trwający około 5,5 miliona lat (od 33,9 ± 0,1 do 28,4 ± 0,1 mln lat temu). Rupel jest młodszy od priabonu (eocen) a starszy od szatu.
