The Birth of Soul (The Birth of Soul: The Complete Atlantic Rhythm and Blues Recordings, 1952-1959) – box set amerykańskiego muzyka Raya Charlesa, wydany w 1991 roku. Składa się on z utworów powstałch w latach 50., głównie gdy Charles był związany z wytwórnią Atlantic. Dysk pierwszy stanowią piosenki z wczesnej twórczości muzyka, kiedy tworzył on swój własny styl („Mess Around”, „It Should Have Been Me”). Płyta druga zawiera utwory reprezentujące jednocześnie kilka gatunków muzycznych („I Got a Woman”, „Lonely Avenue”, „Hallelujah, I Love Her So”).
