Na instrumentach firmy Yamaha grają m.in. tacy muzycy jak: Al Foster, Steve Gadd, Tommy Aldridge, Mike Bordin, Jimmy Chamberlin, Dave Weckl, Shawn Drover, Manu Katché oraz Billy Cobham.
