Zasięg występowania
Rodzaj obejmuje gatunki występujące szerokim łukiem od południowej półwyspowej części Tajlandii, przez Singapur, Malezję, Indonezję i Brunei do Filipin.

Etymologia
Leptomantis: gr. λεπτος leptos „delikatny, drobny”; μαντις mantis, μαντεως manteōs „żaba drzewna”.
