Systematyka
Etymologia
- Hylophorbus: gr. ὑλη hulē „teren lesisty, las”; φορβη phorbē „jedzenie”, od φερβω pherbō „jeść”.
- Metopostira: gr. μετωπιον metōpion „czoło”, od μετα meta „pomiędzy”; στειρα steira „kil”. Gatunek typowy: Metopostira ocellata Méhely, 1901.
