Eonycterini – monotypowe plemię ssaków z podrodziny Rousettinae w obrębie rodziny rudawkowatych (Pteropodidae).

Zasięg występowania

Plemię obejmuje gatunki występujące w południowo-wschodniej Azji.

Morfologia

Długość ciała (bez ogona) 79,5–130 mm, długość ogona 11–28 mm, długość ucha 17–24 mm, długość tylnej stopy 14,6–25 mm, długość przedramienia 56–85 mm; masa ciała 40–98 g.

Systematyka

Rodzaj zdefiniował w 1873 roku irlandzki zoolog George Edward Dobson w artykule dotyczącym nowych lub mało znanych gatunkach rudawkowatych z Indii i okolicznych wysp opublikowanego na łamach The Journal of the Asiatic Society of Bengal. Na gatunek typowy Dobson wyznaczył (oznaczenie monotypowe) jutrzenkowca jaskiniowego (E. spelaea).

Etymologia

Eonycteris: gr. ηώς eōs lub ηως ēōs ‘świt’; νυκτερις nukteris, νυκτεριδος nukteridos ‘nietoperz’.
Callinycteris: gr. καλλος kallos ‘piękno’, od καλος kalos ‘piękny’; νυκτερις nukteris, νυκτεριδος nukteridos ‘nietoperz’. Gatunek typowy (oznaczenie monotypowe): Callinycteris rosenbergii Jentink, 1889.
