Dubai Sevens 2004 – piąta edycja wchodzącego w skład IRB Sevens World Series turnieju Dubai Sevens przeznaczonego dla męskich reprezentacji narodowych w rugby 7. Odbyła się w dniach 2–3 grudnia 2004 roku na Dubai Exiles Rugby Ground w Dubaju będąc pierwszym turniejem sezonu 2004/2005.
Informacje ogólne
Rozegrane na Dubai Exiles Rugby Ground zawody były pierwszym turniejem sezonu 2004/2005 IRB Sevens World Series i wzięło w nich udział szesnaście reprezentacji. Drużyny rywalizowały w pierwszym dniu systemem kołowym podzielone na cztery czterozespołowe grupy, po czym w drugim dniu osiem najlepszych awansowało do ćwierćfinałów, a pozostała ósemka zmierzyła się w walce o Bowl. Rozkład gier został opublikowany pod koniec października 2004 roku.
Wśród faworytów wymieniana była Nowa Zelandia, Anglia, RPA, Argentyna i Fidżi. Cała piątka awansowała do ćwierćfinałów, a w obecności dwudziestu pięciu tysięcy widzów w turnieju triumfowali reprezentanci Anglii, którzy w emocjonującym meczu finałowym pokonali dwukrotnie ukaranych przez Gary'ego Wise'a Fidżyjczyków. Najlepszym graczem turnieju został wybrany przedstawiciel triumfatorów Peter Richards, zaś najwięcej punktów zdobył jego rodak Simon Amor.
Dwudniowe bilety na główne zawody kosztowały 175 dirhamów, a we wszystkich turniejach zorganizowanych podczas trzech dni zagrało około 1750 zawodników reprezentujących 150 zespołów.
