Wody słodkie południowo-wschodniej Brazylii.
Klasyfikacja
Delturinae obejmuje wyłonione z Hypostominae dwa rodzaje, które stanowią grupę siostrzaną dla pozostałych zbrojnikowatych, oprócz Lithogenes (podrodzina Lithogeneinae).
