Systematyka

Etymologia

Anorrhinus: gr. ανο ano „na stronie wierzchniej, powyżej”; ῥις rhis, ῥινος rhinos „nozdrza”.
Ptilolaemus: gr. πτιλον ptilon „pióro”; λαιμος laimos „gardło”. Gatunek typowy: Buceros tickelli Blyth, 1855.
