Aria was a Japanese monthly josei/shōjo manga magazine published by Kodansha. In April 2010 an announcement was made about plans for a new magazine;[5] its first issue was published on July 28, 2010.[3] The magazine was released in size B5 paper.

In 2013, Kodansha temporarily increased Aria's print count by roughly 500% to approximately 80,000 copies because of the demand for the prologue chapter of the Attack on Titan spin-off Attack on Titan: No Regrets, which was published before the serialization began.[6] It was announced on March 27 that the Magazine would cease its publication on April 28, 2018, as most of the series would be moved to Kodansha's new app Palcy.[7][8]
