  1. (referring to language use) flawless, without errors (either grammatical or stylistic errors)
    Umsækjandi verður að tala hnökralausa íslensku. ― The applicant must speak flawless Icelandic.
  2. (referring to execution) without any setbacks, without any hiccups, without failures cropping up, to go according to plan
    Frumsýningin var ekki hnökralaus. ― Not everything went according to plan at the premiere.
