Etymology

Note that the reading of the first character does not correspond to the reading used in the Mandarin term 惡露／恶露 (èlù, “lochia”). The reading o corresponds to wù in Mandarin and means "to hate", and the reading aku corresponds to è in Mandarin and means "bad".
