Lex Banning (ur. 1921, zm. 1965) – poeta i pisarz australijski.

Studiował sztuki piękne na University of Sydney. Pracował jako dziennikarz, krytyk literatury, bibliotekarz. Pisał wiersze, scenariusze filmowe i telewizyjne.
