Itihasy – eposy spisane na subkontynencie indyjskim. Itihasy tworzono zarówno w sanskrycie oraz w innych językach indyjskich. Dwa największe itihasy to: Mahabharata i Ramajana, uważane przez hinduistów za święte teksty.
