- Pierwszy HMCS „Kootenay” (H75) był ex-brytyjskim niszczycielem typu D. W służbie kanadyjskiej w latach 1943-1945.
- Drugi HMCS „Kootenay” (DDE 258) był niszczycielem typu Restigouche. W służbie w latach 1959-1995.
